Jumpstart Young Professionals Board

WHO WE ARE

What is Jumpstart?

Jumpstart is a national early education organization that recruits and trains college students and community volunteers to serve preschool children in low-income neighborhoods. To learn more about Jumpstart and the life-changing work they do, visit www.jstart.org.

What is the Young Professionals Board?

So far, Jumpstart has launched YPBs in three areas: Boston, New York, and Northern California. The Boston YPB comprises a select group of local young professionals who work to support Jumpstart's programming in the Northeast US, especially in Boston.

Our Goals

  • To raise awareness in the Boston area about the importance of early education

  • To generate funds to support Jumpstart’s programming and provide literacy materials for children in Boston from low-income communities

  • To provide opportunities for Boston-area young professionals to network and develop key skill sets
